Sources & references
These are the reference works and professional standards our material is built from, organized by EPPP content domain. Every lesson ends with the references for its domain, and every practice question shows a reference with its explanation.
Educational preparation for a licensure examination. Not medical or legal advice. This material is written and reviewed by Gregory Inzinna, Psy.D., a licensed psychologist (New York), for candidates preparing for the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology. It is not clinical care and it is not a substitute for professional advice.
Where content touches legal duties such as mandated reporting or the duty to protect, we teach the general principle and the standard the exam tests. Those duties vary by jurisdiction, so we cite federal law and professional standards rather than any single state's rule. Where content names a medication, we stay at the level the exam tests — mechanism, class, primary and main adverse effects — and cite FDA labeling. Nothing here is a dosing recommendation.
